Miss. Hurst - 2nd Grade 
 

I'm Peggy Hurst. I have been teaching at Allegan Public Schools for sixteen years. Ten of those years have been spent teaching first graders.  I hold both a bachelors and a masters degree from Western Michigan University. I love teaching first graders. They are so excited about learning and love to celebrate everything. I believe that a solid foundation in reading and math skills sets the stage for a successful academic career. I know that when teachers and parents work together as partners it helps nurture each child's natural curiosity and intense desire to learn.
