Mrs. Fales - 2nd Grade

Hi! My name is Kelly Fales and I am a second Grade teacher at West Ward Elementary. I have been teaching at West Ward since 1999. I taught first grade for four years before moving up to teach second.
I grew up in Gobles and graduated from Gobles High School in 1993. I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University in 1998, and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from WMU in 2007.

I live in Allegan with my husband, Tony, and our daughter, Regan, who was born in April 2004. We are also expecting another little girl in December of 2007! In my very rare free time I enjoy reading, shopping, traveling, and spending time with my family.

I feel that all children have the desire to feel successful at school and learn best when they are in a safe, orderly environment. They also need to have FUN while they are learning! I strongly believe in the importance of parent involvement in their child’s education. Teachers, parents and students all part of a team to help children achieve their full potential.
