Mrs. Criger  - 4th grade 
 

My name is Tammy Criger, and I am a Fourth Grade teacher at West Ward Elementary School in Allegan, Michigan.

I believe that all children have the right to learn in a safe and friendly environment. I encourage my students to “Treat others as you like to be treated.” I also believe that there are three major factors in a child’s educational success, the child, the teacher, and the parent, each with very important responsibilities.

I graduated from Allegan High School and Grand Valley State University. I earned a BA in English Language Arts and am currently attending GVSU for my Master’s degree in Educational Technology.

My husband's name is Shane and he is a detective for the Michigan State Police. We had our first child, a son named Preston, on July 25, 2007. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family and friends.
