Mrs. Miller - Social Worker/Counselor
 

 I graduated from Hope College in 1995 with a Bachelors of Social work degree and received my masters of Social work in 1997 from Western Michigan University.   I was hired at Allegan Public Schools in 1998 and  I currently work as a social worker/counselor for Pine Trails and West Ward Elementary schools, grades K-5.

I am married to a wonderful husband named Karl and we have two beautiful children, Cassie Lynn and Chase Robert Miller.  I enjoy spending time with my family, playing sports, writing poetry and reading.

I believe that forming relationships with children is an important part of getting an education.  Children need to feel like they are a part of the school community and have successful accomplishments.  With positive relationships and heightened self-awareness, students will develop into individuals that will be able to handle difficult situations with success.
