Miss Barber-4th grade 
 

I am a native of Allegan, and I graduated from Allegan High School in 1970.  I went on to earn my Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Western Michigan University.  I've taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades over the last 28 years in Allegan, but 4th grade is my favorite.  Fourth graders are cool! During the summer, I love to garden and catch up on my reading.  I am very active in my church (teaching 4th grade Sunday school!), and I enjoy being involved in local politics.  I have also been learning to play the bagpipes, but have not gotten too far along in that endeavor.  It is hard to find the time to practice.
