Mr. Dehn - Physical Education

Profile of a Sports Fanatic:

Hired by APS in 1986, I have tried to convey to my students my love of sports. Since childhood I have participated in a broad range of outdoor sports, beginning with fishing in South Haven, playing baseball in high school and college, competing in volleyball and golf, and simply enjoying watching football and many other sports on television and in stadiums. Most of my students and friends know my passion for the Green Bay Packers and the Western Broncos.

I graduated from South Haven in 1980 and WMU in 1985. During my time in Allegan, I have coached freshmen volleyball and also taught driver's education. Every year my students in grades 3-5 participate in an organized field events day at the high school field and ski one day at Timber Ridge or Bittersweet Ski Resort, with lessons preceding our day on the hills.
